I take immense pleasure in welcoming parents and children to the Young Learners’ Montessori House at Alipore. This Montessori House has emerged as a pacesetter in education by emphasising a wide spectrum of ideas and activities which together offer a unique way of educating children in a structured Montessori environment.
Our young learners are like precious pearls that acquire lustre if reared in an environment that nurtures their talent, stimulates their imagination and guides them on the path of self-discovery and truth. In July 1993, I joined Young Learners’ Montessori House, which was in its infancy. Under the guiding and inspiring presence of Sonia Aunty, I happily worked in making every single day of the children’s lives fun-filled, interesting and special. Being a smalllay albeit growing Young Learners’ family, we always aimed to create a bond between the children, their families and us, which holds strong even today.
A memorable 16 years of hard work, conviction, commitment, and patience paved the way for my dream come true of being the Principal of Young Learners’ Montessori House, Alipore. My earnest endeavour is to open the windows of our young learners to new ideas and dreams full of promise so that each one of them become shining stars of society.
