Life is a lot like walking down the beach; you never know when you might stumble upon the most exquisite sea shell that the waves have laid in your way because you were meant to have it. January 1993, I joined Young Learners’ Montessori House, still in its nascent stage, as a young budding Montessorian and today I have the opportunity and responsibility of carrying forward the torch as the Principal of one of its Branch at Salt Lake.
Young Learners is a home away from home for all the little ones. We are a large family where love and care binds us with the children and their parents. In today’s times, when there are ever increasing reasons to feel demoralised, we need a handful of sunshine and a pocketful of promise to enable us to see the light at the end of the tunnel which is undoubted always there. It is our endeavour to help parents and children to rediscover the assurance of hope and relive all the joy that life has to offer. A human being is what God made us but being human is something that we imbibe in all our Young Learners.
My sincere thanks to Sonia Aunty, the founder of Young Learners’ Montessori House for always being there as a source of inspiration, encouragement, guidance and an epitome of strength.
